SUMMERTIME

HOLIDAYS AND HEAT. There's precious little breeze in the Breezeway at the moment - but there are a lot of travellers passing through. We have guests from Holland and France and who knows where else. Regulars are hanging in under the shelter and the Musos play each Sunday come Heat, Hail or Storm. Could be a Snez visit in March if we can tie the dates in. HEAT

This week has seen the HEAT arrive. Good time for the Juices and Quiches as well as the Sandwiches. Music on Sunday 22 November. John Peppercorn as special guest with Andrew Hegedus, Izzy Foreal and Tony Rendell.  

December 6 is looking like the WIDE RIVER CHRISTMAS PARTY. Details to follow.

NOVEMBER UPDATE

The heat has reached the WIDE RIVER this month. Lizzy and Maxine are baking the apple pies and quiches , the range of meat pies with the exception of the kangaroo. kangaroo meat is hard to get at the moment. Plenty of cakes and delicacies in the cake fridge.

Robyn has come into the Cafe with Sandy for a time. That means two Botero masters on the coffee and the hot weather is the perfect time for the Juices.

MY 60TH BIRTHDAY



Wide River hosted the Sunday of my 60th Birthday. We had by then, as a Family and Friends, eaten at the South Grafton Emporium and the Ulmarra Hotel and were well pleased with food and service. By Sunday, the Brunch at Wide River was welcome and I had been keen to introduce my Loved Ones to the Good People in GCountry.
